Narrative: The project involved converting an abandoned junior high school into a mixed use - commercial and residential - facility. This adaptive re-use project saved the building from being demolished while being compliant with national historic restoration guidelines. The east wing classrooms were converted to apartments, the high-bay library was converted to loft apartments, and the west wing auditorium was converted into 2 levels of commercial office space.
Statement: Mr. Trott was not "Architect of Record" for the Residential portion, but worked as a Staff Architect while a Partner at Thomas J. Freeman Architect PC.
Mr. Trott was not "Architect of Record" on certain Commercial portions of the building, but designed and managed the project while a Partner at Thomas J. Freeman Architect PC. Mr. Trott was "Architect of Record" for the Stairways Behavioral Health and Laurel Technical Institute tenant spaces in the Commercial wing.
